Steve possesses a Ph.d (2016) in Business Psychology with an emphasis in Human Factors as it relates to the design of technical systems. This understanding of human interaction enables us to produce the perfect balance between user interface (UI) or what the user sees and user experience (UX) how the application behaves. Having a Business Psychologist onboard affords us a unique perspective on how the design looks and interacts with the user
As the business manager of our company, I can assure you that best practices within your industry will be at the very foundation of your website build. Factors such as environment, shifts in social media and technology which can impact your organization will be taken into account and given the proper weight. This will ensure that you are delivered a site that is rock solid in design but also adaptable to changes in the surrounding conditions that affect your company.
At Webconfectionary we build partnerships. As a Doctor of Business Psychology together with my partner, who is our primary developer and designer, your project will be in the capable hands of a hybrid cross-discipline team that is both left brain right brain, hi-tech hi-touch.
Hi I’m Janet, but most people just call me Revy. I have always been fascinated by technology and started my career as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. In the early 90’s a web project came up and I volunteered to build the website. At the completion of the project I knew I had found my true calling.
I love web technologies and the creativity involved in the building of a website. From the design to the development of the final code. I am a huge proponent of Open Source and the integration of systems.
Early on I was ‘kept developer” working as a Staff Senior Developer most recently with FIDM. About 5 years ago I began working for creative agencies as freelancer, taking assignments for enterprise sites; Charming Charlie, Lexus, Princess Cruises, Paramount Pictures just to drop a few names.
I love sharing my enthusiasm for web technology. It is so much fun to show a client how they can incorporate the same ‘Big Boy Toys” employed by the large enterprise sites; such as email lists, e-commerce, event ticketing, subscriptions and analytics into our builds using no to low cost Open Source and community engineering.
Oh BTW Welcome to Candyland!
